Description

The MINI Efficiency 97.5% Buck DCDC module is a high-performance, compact voltage converter. Designed to convert input voltages up to 424V, 12V, or 24V to a stable 5V/3A output. Features: 97.5% efficiency, input voltage: 424V, 12V, 24V (check datasheet), output voltage: 5V/3A (check datasheet). Ideal for automotive applications requiring high voltage to low voltage conversion. Can be used to create a simple battery status indicator or to power devices requiring stable low voltage. Tutorial: How to Use MINI 5V3A This DCDC module is ideal for converting high voltages to low voltages, perfect for automotive applications. What you need: MINI 5V3A Arduino or compatible microcontroller 424V power cable 10kΩ resistor Steps: 1. Ensure the input voltage is 424V. 2. Connect the power cable to the module’s input. 3. Connect the microcontroller or Arduino to the 5V output pin. 4. Connect the 10kΩ resistor between the GND pin and the 5V output pin. 5. Upload the Arduino code to the microcontroller. 6. Check the datasheet for maximum current values. 7. Test the system to ensure it works correctly. 8. Install the module in a safe location. Example code: int main() { pinMode(5, OUTPUT); digitalWrite(5, HIGH); } Mini-project: Create a simple battery status indicator for a vehicle. Common errors: Connecting power at voltages other than 424V. Omitting the protection resistor. Not checking maximum current values. Connecting the microcontroller to an unregulated pin. Recommended accessories: Arduino Nano 10kΩ resistor 16×2 LCD display 424V power cable
